i was born in calif.. of parents from Mass. they split up when i was 2 and i , along w/my sibs, born at the time, went into a foster home.. (i am not a big advocate of THAT system).. came back to live w/mom at nine.. (youngest bro was w/us for a time, having been born after we moved , and went to different homes)..
State took youngest brother a few years later because of sever abuse.. managed to grow up, went out on my own at 17.. waited...

Because my testimony is helping so many people, I am posting it here so it will stay on your front page for awhile if that's ok with you. A couple of photos of our son. I think he was 4 yo in this picture. Obviously it's near Christmas, and I strung all that damned popcorn by hand. The ittle dog with him was named Cozy. She was our first rescue dog.

This photo is Brian in Iraq, posing with an Iraqi kid. The GI's often bought the children trinkets at the various shops and stands...

What the hell. I'll be the first poster here. I know where I come from, I know where I've been, but have absolutely no clue where I'm going from here. I guess I'll wing it.

Where I come from is the middle of nowhere in South Dakota. The scenery is less than stunning, anytime of the year. This area of SD gets very little rain. Here are a few shots of the lush green "hillsides" that are 1/4 mile north of my dad's "homeplace":
